Need a Kick in the Pants?


Sorry I have been gone for a while. I got caught up in "busy-ness" and wasn't taking care of my blog - which is something I really enjoy. I like helping people reach their goals, get new ideas on how to deal with employees, and generally take care of themselves and their business.

I - like so many of you, allowed myself to get sidetracked. Well, no more! It is time to get back to business and focus. How do I do this? Rachel Hollis, New York Times best-selling author, says, “Count down from 5 and when you get to 1, just do the thing!” I like that. We often don’t want to do what we know we should – what we say we need to do to get where we want to go. But we must kick ourselves in the pants and just do it!

Eric Lofholm, time management guru and sales coach, suggests we “Do what you know.” We know we should plan our day on paper, we know we should make those sales calls, we know we need to follow up on proposals, post on Facebook, go to that business mixer – we just tend to drag our feet sometimes. We get in our own way by finding busy work that steals our time.

Well, no more. Lets you and me do this together! Go to bed earlier and get up earlier so we can exercise. Drink more water. Meditate, and get our personal selves under control. THEN, get going on business. We will be able to focus, motivate our crews better, and generally be happier.
