Ok, so we are still on lock down. It is a huge bummer and will require some tightening of our belts. BUT, we will get through this! Hang in there and stay positive.
Right now there are free opportunities to learn that we wouldn't have otherwise. AHLAEI- American Hotel and Lodging Association Education Institute, offers several certification programs for the hospitality industry. They are offering free learning for those certifications now. There is a deadline to sign up, so check it out right now. https://training.ahlei.org B.B. King said it best, "The beautiful thing about learning, is that no one can take it away from you."
If hospitality isn't the business you are in, check into other accrediting associations, I bet they are doing the same thing. There are all kinds of consulting companies that are offering free admission to their programs - at least to their on-line platforms for a limited time as well. LinkedIn and Facebook are great ways those folks are reaching out and sharing important info and insights on business and strategies.
Read books and articles on your industry. Do everything you can to expand your knowledge. Open your mind and be creative. The business world as we knew it is gone. Things are going to be different, now. We must learn, be creative, adapt and GROW!
